Celebrity brothers Mark and Donnie Wahlberg famous burger chain, Wahlburgers has been litigated by five employees of the company on grounds of unpaid wages.
The former employees have filed the case in New York federal court on Thursday. The case claims ‘Employees at one time didn’t receive a $3,000 tip left for them following a private party for the cast of “Blue Bloods,” the CBS series starring Donnie Wahlberg.’ Also, the ex employees claim that the Wahlburgers couldn’t manage to pay them their regular wages and that they also used to keep the tips they received from customers in a routined manner.
The lawsuit represents a lot of sayings and claims to sue the Brooklyn branch and the owner of the branch and has nowhere adverted the brothers name. Though on being asked about the claims and the case Wahlburgers were found quoting that they are in word with the franchise and that “we’ve been working with Coney Burgers to better understand the circumstances and help bring this matter to resolution.”
Although there has been no naming of either of the three brothers but a few court papers cite that Donnie Wahlberg was aware of the ongoing stiff between the workers and the owner, to this he replied that he know it all.Coney Burgers who are to the depth involved in the matter remained unavailable for the comments but with the Wahlburgers, they claim to bring in some good energy back to the restaurant.
